Become a Part of the MLOC Leadership Council!

As part of the growth of our Alumni Community we will be holding elections for critical leadership positions. We need your participation to make this election and the Leadership Council itself a success.

Below is a list of open positions. Consider how you can raise your hand and support our Alumni Network - whether by raising your hand to serve or nominating someone you think has a lot to offer the community.

We will be hosting a Zoom session in May (link below) which will give you a chance to ask any questions left unanswered by this email.

Nominations will open in May. Elections will be held in June.

Watch you inbox, social media and this website for news and updates!

Available Leadership Council Positions

We have created the following Leadership Council (LC) positions to help guide and grow the Network. If none of the positions below feel right for you, maybe you know someone else that would be the perfect fit. Beyond these roles there will be countless ways to get involved, but to get to that point, we need to first fill these positions!

After the inaugural year, each position will have staggered terms overlapping with their counterpart. Each position requires a commitment to attend at least 80% of bi-monthly meetings. Additional responsibilities are listed below. The open positions and their inaugural terms are:

❖   Co-president 1: 3-year term (co-president year 1 & 2, and 1 past president year)

❖   Co-president 2: 2-year term (co-president year 1, and 1 past president year)

❖   Vice-president: 4-year term (VP year 1, co-president year 2 & 3, and past president yr 4)
