Senior Human Resources Consultant – Metropolitan Council – St. Paul, MN

This position is eligible for a hybrid (both remote and onsite) telework arrangement. Candidate’s permanent residence must be in Minnesota or Wisconsin. 

The Metropolitan Council is the regional planning agency for the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area providing essential services to our region: transportation, wastewater treatment, growth and development of local communities, affordable housing programs, and regional park systems.  More information at www.metrocouncil.org.

The Senior Human Resources Consultant will work with Human Resources and Metro Transit to lead the creation of strategic workforce plans. They will be proactively driving strategic conversations, assessing effectiveness, presenting recommendations, coordinating HR services, collaborating on change efforts, and managing projects.

Salary Range:   $87,422.40 – $131,934.40 Annually

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field AND six (6) years of experience working across several HR disciplines such as strategic planning, organization development, workforce planning, staffing, job classification, and labor relations as an HR senior individual contributor, HR manager, HR consultant or business consultant in a related industry.  OR Associate degree AND eight (8) years of experience.
