Understand and consider company strategy as well as future business needs in the design, development, and implementation of organization structure solutions that drive organizational performance across the enterprise while optimizing team effectiveness, operations, and processes. Work in tandem with business leaders and HR business partners and COEs, leveraging influence and execution skills, to drive organizational capability. This work may also include creating organizational structure documents such as org charts, job descriptions and titles, business cases, process maps, and other tools/work products. This role also ensures that the organization’s design, adheres to HR and company policy and standards.
Partners with HR Business Partners to provide enterprise-wide leadership, consultation, and guidance on organizational development strategies. Identifies opportunities to improve organizational performance and team structure.
Identifies the strengths/ critical opportunities in the organization design, process and mindsets/behaviors that contribute to improved performance and will achieve the business strategy.
Connects performance improvements to metrics and behaviors that are important to the business.
Supports the organizations’ design practice including organization design methodologies, programs, tools, and resources.
Supports strategies that identify organization and talent capabilities required in the future and develops an effective approach to address.
Supports HR Business Partners so they are equipped with programs, tools, and resources to manage organization design projects for their client groups.
Bachelor’s Degree in Organization Development, Human Resources, Psychology, or other related fields preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 years of experience in organizational development and/or organizational design; preferably for a large multi-state organization
5 years of progressive experience one or more specialty functions of Human Resources, with a significant portion focused on talent management (e.g., talent acquisition, employee and/or leadership development, organization design, organizational development, training, performance management) and a mix of operational, strategic, and systems thinking experience
5 years of experience successfully managing multiple priorities & projects through successful delivery & implementation under time, budget, and political pressure
