Manager Employee Engagement – NASCAR – Daytona Beach, FL

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Manager, Employee Engagement based in our Daytona Beach, Florida office.

This position will be responsible for managing and executing employee engagement and employee communication initiatives to build understanding of the NASCAR business strategy, culture and values.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Plan, manage and implement engagement initiatives across NASCAR.
  • Understand, recommend and advise on engagement approaches to deliver compelling internal campaigns and internal communications supporting the campaigns.
  • Support leadership communications that includes delivering events and structure that increase leaders’ engagement and improve two-way interaction with employees.
  • Support change initiatives as required, using appropriate and applicable engagement techniques.
  • Lead employee service programs and processes.
  • Create, distribute and manage content and collateral.
  • Drive and lead the employee engagement / internal communication planning calendar.
  • Work closely with the External Communications, Marketing, HR, platform teams and other functions as needed.
  • Understand and apply appropriate standards and guidelines including brand and style guidelines.
  • Analyze exit interview data and recommend key retention and engagement initiates.
  • Actively look for new and innovative ways to engage our employees and make recommendations on strategic and ever evolving employee engagement programs and processes.

Requirements

Required skills / experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources with at least 1 year of experience in employee communication, preferably in a corporate or agency environment
  • Experience in inclusion and diversity
  • The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and want to consistently deliver relevant, creative and effective ways to engage colleagues and support our leaders.
  • Passion for employee engagement, communications and technology.
  • Able to cultivate and maintain positive relationships. Able to provide critical feedback and handle sensitive issues when needed.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Adept at using Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and other equivalent technology platforms and applications.
  • Good project and time management skills. Needs to be super organized with attention to detail.
  • Naturally collaborative. Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Energized / friendly / efficient.
