The Internal Communications & Engagement Manager is a key member of our internal culture building task force. Working collaboratively across all parts of the business, they will help inform and engage team membes across locations, connecting on multiple channels. Our goal with this new role is increased employee engagement, communication and overall connection to our organization.

You should love to engage with others and have a sense of what the “pulse” is with our team from all facets of the organization and all locations. You should be able to use data to improve the employee experience and understand the trends on engagement and communicating effectively. You should be self motivated and willing to “find the answers”as well as a keen ability to anticipate problems and follow through to come up with an appropriate and workable solution. You should have excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
You will work with a small team on developing and executing effective communication across the organization. We will rely on you to identify the best ways to communicat through different channels, content, format for a diverse group of employees. Aong with this you will be responsible for planning and executing events to keep our employees feeling appreciated and engaged. You will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of the events and measuring the ROI of the spend. You will work with departmental leaders to develop events and activities that build relationships and a sense of belonging to the organization and overall purpose.
- Strong presentation, oral, and written skills.
- 5+ years related experience in internal communications management
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience building communications plans from ideation to measurement/evaluation
- Experience building trust and communicating across teams and with senior leaders
- Experience creating content, including digital, written, video, or visual communications material
In order to be considerd for thei opportunity you should have the following:
College Degree in Communications or a related field. 5+ years experience in internal communication management. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to build communication plans from conception to execution and measurement. Experience buidiling trust and communicating across levels of an organization. You must be able to work independently and accept direction as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience creating content including written, digital, video and visual communication materials.
