Description – External Job Summary The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Consultant is a role within People & Culture at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago (Chicago Fed). Reporting to the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Team Lead, the DEI Consultant will support DEI goals, implement DEI Learning and Development, facilitate DEI training, enhance communications strategy, manage projects and implement programming aligned to our DEI Strategy. This position will partner closely with team members across People & Culture to design, implement and manage impactful learning experiences to meet the needs of the bank and business unit stakeholders to create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive culture. This position will support the D&I team, manage large and complex DEI projects, and support other stakeholders in creating and sustaining inclusive cultures and behaviors. The level of work required is considered advanced and highly confidential. This position has no direct reports.   We Are Looking for Someone Who Demonstrates   – Intense collaboration – Passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – Outstanding stakeholder focus – Strong ability to influence – Excellent project management skills – Commitment to continuous improvement     Principal Duties and Responsibilities – Acts as an internal consultant to design, recommend and execute on a fully integrated DEI Learning Strategy in collaboration with peers across the Bank and Federal Reserve System to develop consistent, high quality programs and practices – Assist in the development, implementation and management of DEI learning and development strategies, programs, and initiatives to build inclusion, allyship and awareness that progress our diverse workforce and inclusive culture for the Chicago Fed – Support leadership development strategy, empower our leaders in the DEI journey, coach and mentor hiring managers, human resources and senior leadership on diversity, equity and inclusion trends – Develop evaluation systems to ensure that the strategic goal of the learning and development initiatives are achieving desired return on investment – Help enhance communication strategy across the organization as it relates to DEI a nd activities on the company’s intranet, website and other publications – Manages multiple large and complex projects simultaneously Qualifications – External Education and Experience – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience – 5-7 plus years of related work experience – Certificates in D&I preferred
